One of the Hachiyō is known as Seiryū on Earth. He is Tenma's classmate and friend who gets pulled into Kyō with her. Initially, they are separated from Shimon but later find each other when Akane accidentally quarrels with Yurihisa. In the series, Tenma confesses his feelings for Akane and promises to protect her even if it means sacrificing himself. When he asks Akane about her feelings towards him, she doesn't respond due to an unknown interruption. Later, Tenma tells Akane to forget what he said and runs away.
