Mei/Akira Ikaruga, Oneni-sama, The Eraser, メイズ

The protagonist of the narrative is a woman who unintentionally saves Princess Mil's life when her house collapses on top of Mils would-be assassin, similar to how Dorothy saves the Wicked Witch in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Following this event, she becomes highly protective of Mill, who frequently exhibits romantic interest or advances towards Maze. Initially, she is a pacifist but possesses significant magical abilities. At the start of the story, her use of magic is less effective due to her gender. Maze is an amalgamation of Mei and Akira, two individuals who swap places at dawn and dusk. During the day, Mei dominates while Akira takes over at night. Maze was brought into this fantasy realm as the Eraser to rectify a magical imbalance. As a male, he possesses enhanced magical powers but is highly predatory towards any attractive female he encounters. His memories are mostly erased or disrupted upon entering this world, though they gradually resurface over time. Initially portrayed as a violent, sex-crazed monster with little personality, Maze eventually develops his own character traits.
