Two girls who grew up with Nozomu are childhood friends of his. They went to the same school as him throughout the anime. Both of them have secret feelings for Nozomu that they keep hidden from each other and everyone else, even though they're very close. One of these girls is Sumireko Ichijō, who is Kaorukos twin sister and also a shrine maiden like her.
