In Visual Novel Version A, there's a character named Shin Koihime Musō who is quite scholarly but desires to be more feminine. Kazuto helps her out by encouraging her to try on a dress. On the other hand, in Anime version, Ryomo is a warrior and serves under Kannei as part of his personal guard. After being relieved of her duties, she becomes an apprentice strategist to Sonken, Princess of Wu, whom she has developed feelings for during their time together.
