A Kemekos pilot named Mei Mishima, who has an alluring appearance despite being tall and fitting into the smaller body of Kemekos, seems to be familiar with Sanpeita even though she claims not to have met him before moving to his house. She shares several characteristics with a girl from ten years ago, including wearing bandages on her cheek and having the same hair color. The revelation of Mei's real name in the eleventh episode of anime has been seen by several characters but no one directly questions Sanpeita about who she is.
