Kazuki is recognized for possessing strong leadership qualities; he consistently strives to be the best version of himself. Despite moments of fatigue, his carefree nature often drives him to take on challenging paths. Even after falling in love with Tsukiko, he continues to exhibit pushy behavior and tries to exert control over her through his "leader's instinct." Kazuki serves as the student council president at Shiranui High School. He was held back a year due to an incident where he saved Shirogane Oushiros life but ended up getting injured himself. Oushiro felt responsible and decided to stay behind for another year in order to start fresh with Kazuki. On her first day of school, Kazuki recruited Tsukiko onto the student council. He implemented a rule that required everyone to address each other by their first names, which he believed fostered a sense of camaraderie. Hayato initially resisted taking over Kazukis position but eventually agreed to do so. Kazuki's parents tragically passed away in an accident when he was young.
