The girl in Class 3-A, aside from Chao Lingshen and Hakase (who is sometimes referred to as "Professor"), is frequently involved in research at Mahora University's science labs when she's not attending class. Hakase created Chachamaru and therefore serves as her closest maternal figure. She seems to have known about magic before Negi arrived at Mahora, based on conversations with Evangeline and the fact that Chachamaru runs partially off magic. Hakase is the only person who knows for certain that Chachamaru loves Negi and designs a more realistic skin-like covering for her to aid in her pursuit of him. During the school festival and before the martial arts tournament, she helps run the Chao Bao Zi diner cart with Satsuki. Unlike many other girls in the class, Hakase does not accompany Negi on his trip to England.
