Mortes childhood friend is also known as the Captain of the Kyrie in the anime. He comes from a family that holds high positions within the SandSea Tribe, specifically being the son of the Chief. In both versions of the story, he wields a whip as his weapon and accompanies everyone on their journey with his ship. While in the game, Mortes is second-in-command to the Golden Lions, in the anime, he runs his own crew and operates independently from them. Additionally, in the anime, Mortes is known for being someone who will do anything for money and sells various items to people.
