King Veofum was ambitious and power-hungry, seeking Xerneas' powers for his own gain. However, instead of prosperity, his land's plant life withered, and Pokémon died. Enraged, he ordered his men to burn Xerneas. Jan tried to stop him, but Veofum refused. He then commanded his men to eliminate Jan. Suddenly, Zygarde emerged, using Lands Wrath to destroy the kingdom, leading to the demise of Veofum and his followers.
