Austin is a new student from West Academy who enters Duel Academy in the third year. He's an experienced and skilled mercenary known as Professor Vipers right-hand man, but later joins Jaden after Viper's suspicious actions led him to betray her and be imprisoned by her. Austin uses a retractable Duel Disk that looks like a gun which he stores in a holster at his waist. He trained extensively with his father (a mercenary) on jungle terrain, learning survival skills. At West Academy, he adapted these skills to perform life-threatening wire stunts and mastered his drawing technique.
