Captain Mamoru of Raimon jr. Highs Soccer team is a goalie who later plays as a libero. He's known for his mental strength, encouragement and selflessness towards his teammates. He admires his grandfather Daisuke, one of the greatest goalkeepers in history. Season One: Mamoru appears in God Hand, Nekketsu Punch, Bakeretsu Punch, Inazuma One (with Gouenji), Inazuma One Drop (with Kabeyama and Gouenji), Tri-Pegasus (with Ichinose and Domon), The Phoenix (with Ichinose and Domon) and Triple Defense (with Kurimatsu and Kabeyama). Season Two: Mamoru is seen in Fist of Justice(G1, G2, G3), Megaton Head, Death Zone (with Kidou and Domon), Death Zone 2 (with Kidou and Domon) and The Earth (with the rest of the Raimon team). Season Three: Mamoru appears in Fist of Justice (G4 and G5), Hammer of Wrath, Ijigen the Hand, Hammer of Wrath V2, Ijigen the Hand Remastered, True Ijigen the Hand, God Catch(G2, G3 and G5) and Jet Stream (with Gouenji and Toramaru). Movie: Mamoru is featured in Omega The Hand [Ares no Tenbin], Fuujin Raijin [Orion no Kokuin] and Fuujin Raijin Ghost.
