Ryuga leads the Dark Nebula and serves as the primary antagonist in the show. He was placed in a coma for several years until he was awakened by Ginga and Pegasis. Despite being vicious, merciless, and enjoying causing fear and terror among other beybladers, Ryuga gains strength from absorbing the power of fear and anger from those he battles. His ultimate goal is to restore LDrago to its full potential and unleash it upon the world. It was due to Ryuga's actions that Ginga's father, Ryūsei, passed away. The Dark Nebula attacked the town where Ginga resided, leading to the death of his father after defeating Ryūsei in a battle with LDrago. As a result, Ginga is determined to defeat Ryuga and avenge his father's death.
