Karin is a seventh-grade student at Sei Ringo Gakuen with bright red hair that she wears in a ponytail. She has curly ends like a pig's tail and wears a blue ball ribbon on top of her ponytail. Despite being clumsy, Karin has a kind heart and helped Ton-chan, which made him choose her as Buurin, the Pig Girl of Love and Courage. She is in love with Mizuno Kouichi but he likes her alter ego, causing her concerns. Her other worries come from her father, Shuuhei, and later Jimmy Matsumoto, who follow her when she appears as Buurin.
