Glitter owns Sparkle, who is a self-centered pop star hamster. At first, she didn't like the Ham-Hams, but eventually became attached to them. In Japanese episodes, Sparkle developed feelings for Hamtaro and tried to get him to notice her, but was unsuccessful. After that, she attempted to push Hamtaro and Bijou together, but her feelings for Hamtaro resurfaced. She is known for being selfish, such as when the Ham-Hams were talking about her, she said "I'd like to talk about me again!". Sparkle believes she is the cutest hamster in the world and has her own albums as her owner takes her everywhere. After becoming attached to the Ham-Hams, she shows kindness on the inside and cares for Bijou like a best friend. She competes with Bijou and Oshare in a Valentine Battle! to win Hamtaro's heart, but ultimately helps them finish the race with her.
