In Season 3, an exclusive anime character named Saji Genpou was introduced. Initially appearing as a mysterious cloaked girl with a crystal ball, she would speak to Ryomou and reveal herself later in several episodes as the real Saji Genpou. She is a toushi who has experienced tragedy in her past, being bullied by other children for being different. Despite this, only one girl (likely Chuubou based on voice) pleaded with them to stop. As a powerful mistress of genjutsu magic, Saji demonstrated her abilities by reviving Ryofu and controlling the minds of some of the stronger toushi, including Ryofu, Ryubi, and her friends excluding Kanu and Hakufu herself. However, prolonged use of mind control caused great pain to her. Saji hates all forms of love and friendship and goes to great lengths with her powers to break them up, wanting everyone to suffer as she had. She believes that obtaining Ryomou's dragon will give her the power to do so. Additionally, Saji has a crush on Ouin, believing him to be the only one who understands her.
