Robert Garcia is a character created by SNK Playmore for their video game Art of Fighting. In this game, he stars alongside his best friend Ryo Sakazaki as practitioners of Kyokugenryu Karate who search for Yuri Sakazaki, Ryos younger sister who was kidnapped by Mr. Big. Robert is also a main character in most King of Fighters crossover games and has been featured in every edition except The King of Fighters XI. He recently returned to the game as a playable character in its PlayStation 2 version. Additionally, he has appeared in the film adaptation of Art of Fighting and manhua from The King of Fighters. Critics have praised his design but noted similarities with Street Fighter main characters. Robert has been well-received by gamers and has appeared in several popularity polls.
