The possessor of the Millennium Rod is a member of Malik's family who has been tasked with safeguarding the tomb of the pharaoh for many years. Their objective is to acquire the three God Cards through their clandestine organization, GHOULS, in order to assume the role of Pharaoh themselves. With this newfound power, Malik intends to send the soul of the pharaoh into eternal darkness, a place where he was forced to dwell during his childhood.
