Rock Lee is a character from the Naruto anime and manga series created by Masashi Kishimoto. Kishimoto views him as one of his favorite characters to draw, initially designing him to symbolize human vulnerability. In both the anime and manga, Lee is a ninja from Konohagakure who belongs to Team Guy alongside Neji Hyuga, Tenten, and Might Guy, their leader. Despite not being able to use many ninja techniques, Lee focuses on mastering taijutsu, which are martial arts-like ninja techniques. He aspires to become a great ninja despite his limitations.
