In episode 10, Iaian is portrayed as quick-tempered when he witnesses the devastation of A-city, which he considers "unforgivable." This enrages him and prompts him to attack a mysterious alien without hesitation. Despite being attacked himself, Iaian responds promptly with an attack of his own. It's worth noting that Iaian only appears in episode 10 after saving a father and son from Melzalgald, who was trying to kill them under some rubble.
