Kouki Ki  

Kouki Ki is known as the Chief of the Censorate, who later became the Prime Minister of Saiunkoku. Despite being infamous for his ruthlessness, Kouki maintains a cold and distant demeanor towards most people, including Ryuuki, the Emperor, who finds it difficult to speak with him without flinching. Only a select few individuals have been able to tolerate his personality, such as Anju Ryou, Ki Ou, Seiga Riku, Shuurei Kou, and Suou Shin. Although he always presents himself in a cold manner, Kouki possesses a dry sense of humor which he occasionally reveals to Shuurei, notably when he ordered her to make pickled eggs for him and later teased her for ruining his clothing. Out of all the people, only Shuurei is able to see this humorous side of him.
