Ichitaka's best friend appears to be confident in his abilities despite having some nerdy traits and difficulty with women. He often provides encouragement and advice to Seto, although sometimes his help is unnecessary or leads to negative consequences. Despite this, he genuinely cares about Seto's success and feels disappointed when it doesn't happen. Throughout the story, Ichitaka frequently seeks guidance but learns to be more independent as time goes on. He is generally seen as a well-intentioned person with some flaws, including being a bit of a jerk and pervert, and not always the smartest character in the series.
