Hayate Gekkou

Hayate Gekkou was an examiner for the preliminary third portion of the Chuunin exams. His name "Gekkou" means "moonlight," while "Hayate" translates to "quick as wind" or "hurricane." Despite limited information about his abilities, it is known that he used a technique called Dance of the Crescent Moon on Baki during the exams. This advanced move creates multiple clones of the user while attacking from above in a blind spot. Baki noted the village's talented ninja based on Hayate's mastery of this technique at such a young age and his possession of a katana, as well as his great speed demonstrated during the exams when he stopped Neji from attacking Hinata.
