Raven

Raven is an exceptionally skilled young zoid pilot who quickly becomes Vans rival and takes on the role of the anti-hero in the series. Tragically, both of his parents passed away when he was young, leaving him to be trained by Prozen himself. Despite initially claiming to hate all zoids, it's later revealed that he deeply cares for his black organoid, Shadow. His sarcastic demeanor and reckless fighting style give the impression that he is cold and uncaring at first glance. In the beginning, Raven pilots a Saber Tiger and a Geno Saurer, both of which are destroyed by Van. He later takes control of the unique Geno Breaker before his true name, Joyce Chen, is revealed in the manga but not mentioned in the anime.
