Ryuuichi Kashima takes care of one of his students' sons named Taka. Taka is Shizuka Kamitani's son and Hayato's younger brother. Despite their relationship being bittersweet, with Taka looking up to his brother and sometimes getting hit on the head as a form of punishment (a joke in the manga), they share a bond. It turns out that their father is Hebihara Taizou, a chemistry teacher at the high school. Taka is quite talkative and has close friends with Kotarou. He enjoys playing heroes and sometimes cries about his brother hitting him, referring to him as "Baka Aniki" (stupid older brother).
