Alexander, the main character of our story, is a young Russian-origin Qwaser who can manipulate Iron on a molecular level. He's capable of transforming it into any form and creating extreme temperatures. Alexander was held captive and trained alongside other Qwasers to control his powers. Despite the harshness of his training, he survived thanks to the love and support of an older girl named Olja. Unfortunately, she was murdered by another Qwaser, leaving him with a large scar on his left side in the shape of an Eastern Cross that bleeds heavily when he uses his powers. Sasha, as Alexander is often called, appeared out of nowhere at St. Mihailov and quickly became a student in class 1-A alongside Mafuyu Oribe and Tomo Yamanobe. Due to her resemblance to Olja, Sasha was chosen by Tomo as her protector. Known for his cold, harsh demeanor, Sasha is usually extremely serious, but his love for borscht can soften him. Over time, he has warmed up to those around him, especially Mafuyu. When fighting other Qwasers, Sasha wields an enormous black scythe that's twice his size. He sometimes speaks in Russian.
