In this version of the story, Professor Jumba is an alien genius who created Stitch. The Galactic Council assigned him to look after Stitch as his guardian. He lives with Yuna and Obaa, and although he was initially portrayed as villainous in the original series, here he comes across as more friendly and less inclined towards evil.
