The south pacific ocean's mermaid princess is known for her possession of a yellow pearl and her role as its guardian. although she spends most of the first season imprisoned by sea monsters, little information about her can be gleaned. in the manga, however, she is friends with fellow mermaid princess sara. her character in the anime is portrayed as more brash and outspoken compared to the gentle and playful depiction in the manga. the idol form of yellow pearl voice represents her in the anime.
