Caster-class Servant Roche Frain Yggdmillennia is a member of the Black Faction and wears a mask with no openings for eyes or mouth during the Great Holy Grail War in Fate/Apocrypha. Despite wearing this mask, it's unclear whether he felt any emotions as his face was concealed. Caster is known to be eccentric and sometimes doesn't respond when spoken to, only nodding in affirmation. He has a poor constitution and a pessimistic outlook on life, which makes him reluctant to interact with others. However, he can hold conversations but does not show any emotions during these exchanges. As a magus specializing in one type of thaumaturgy, Caster doesn't have to worry about household chores.
He was born in Malaga, Spain, and although he did not have the glory of a knight or king or the recognition of having produced works of art that would prosper for thousands of years, he was the father of an entire thaumaturgical system, Kabbalah, and one of the starting points of the process leading up to the European Renaissance through bringing Greco-Arabic and Jewish lore and enlightenment to the cultural circles of Europe.
