The Count of Stafolos Keep is commonly referred to as "The Black Count Vanon". This nobleman is afflicted with a disease that causes his skin to peel away. Upon investigation, it's discovered that he has been taken over by a ghoul, which feeds on the blood of the living in order to maintain its existence.
