Gouzu and his brother Meizu formed the Demon Brothers team. Hired by Gato, they were tasked with killing Tazuna, the Bridge Builder of the Land of Waves, to halt construction on the bridge and destroy all hope among its citizens. During their attack on Tazuna, who was protected by Team 7, they used their coordinated strikes and large metal gauntlets equipped with retractable shuriken chains to bind and slice their enemies. However, if the shuriken chain is neutralized, they have a release mechanism to allow for individual attacks. Their sharp, poisoned claws on their gauntlets are also effective in tearing apart their foes. As renowned Kirigakure Chunin, the Demon Brothers are known for their unwavering fighting spirit.
