Daisaku is 17 years old and attends Aoba High School. He excels in robotics and created a winning robot for his school's scholastic competition. After the first Derinjer attack, he transformed his robot into α Robot at Professor Mizukis Robot Center. As part of Albegass crew, Daisaku is known as the extroverted leader and main super robot pilot. He also captains the high school football team and has a fan club of female students who follow him, sometimes causing jealousy among other girls.
