Lt. Darota is a subordinate officer who worked under Garma before his demise. Following Garma's passing, Icelina visits Garma's former headquarters and encounters Darota to plan their revenge attack on White Base. In this operation, Darota serves as the leader of the main Gaw while Gundam is responsible for attacking the enemy base. During the battle, Gundam sustains severe injuries and eventually succumbs to his wounds when Icelina takes control of the Gaw and collides it with the Gundam. Despite being loyal to both Garma and his lover, Darota ultimately loses his life due to these events. Although the occurrence of this alliance and Darota's death are not depicted in the Mobile Suit Gundam compilation movies, it is likely that he perished off-screen at some point.
