Omar Fang started out as a trainee like Ryu Jose, but later became an operator on the White Base. He was also responsible for preparing mobile suits and had expertise in bombs. His actions led to the death of captured Zeon soldier Cozun Graham when he tried to open a door with a bazooka. Although his role was minor, Omar Fang appeared frequently as part of the crew due to being an operator. Despite this, many individuals played his character in the Japanese dub.
