Mint is an individual residing in the community situated at the base of Popo Poco Volcano. Three years prior to the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien Shinhan, and Chiaotzu encountered her and her brother Paul while traveling towards Korin Tower. Biography During their journey to Korin Tower, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien Shinhan, and Chiaotzu were ambushed by individuals wearing devil masks. Among them, Mint extended an invitation for the boys to attend her festival. At the event, a stranger offered Krillin alcohol, which caused him to become intoxicated quickly. Later on, Tien was challenged by Paul, Mint's brother. Despite this, Krillin wished to fight first in order to impress the girl and ultimately defeated his opponent with a headbutt. When Popo Poco Volcano erupted, the boys attempted to alter the course of the lava flow. However, the elder of the village refused to evacuate, and Mint and her brother were unable to persuade him. In an attempt to save Mint from the lava, Krillin ran towards her but still could not convince her to leave without the elder. Subsequently, Krillin tried to obstruct the village with a massive rock. Nevertheless, Yamcha created a hole for water to flow through, which successfully flooded the entire forest. Despite this, the volcano erupted once more. In unison, Yamcha and Tien constructed a rock wall that deflected the lava and safeguarded Mint's village.
