Sergeant Gu, who works with Lieutenant Drake, has curly black hair and a mustache. He dislikes carrots and tomatoes. In the G-8 Arc, he appears again as a non-canon character alongside Vice Admiral Johnathan and other Marine officers during a gathering at Marineford in preparation for the battle against Whitebeard. Although this scene is not depicted in the manga.
