Ayane Yano

Ayane-chan, Yano-chin, 矢野あやね

Ayane is a close friend of Sawako and is often considered the most mature member of their group. She has pierced ears multiple times and is currently in college with a boyfriend. Initially, the mangaka intended for Yano and Yoshida to be a pair, but later redrafted their appearances to make them more distinguishable. In Kurumis fake rumors, it's said that Ayane has played with over 100 guys in middle school. Currently, she and Yano have authority in the year group at their high school. Ayane is known for being perceptive and intelligent, often giving just enough information to leave others wondering. She was able to figure out that Ume spread the rumors about Sawako and also realized that Sawako "liked" Kazehaya. Despite her calm demeanor, she can become easily infuriated if someone hurts Sawako and does not hesitate to attack with kicks and sharp words. Ayane is also intimidating when angry, causing others to call her scary on multiple occasions.
