In the anime, Takashis class president is named Sasada and she believes that he can see spirits. She frequently asks him about this ability, but he always responds by saying that he doesn't possess it. Despite his discomfort with her constant questioning, Sasada wants to accompany him when he visits spirits. There are hints in the anime that she may have a crush on Takashi, as she blushed during episode 5 when he asked why she wanted to join him at an abandoned train station (where he was going to investigate Reiko's ticket). Fortunately for Takashi, Tanuma intervened and distracted Sasada long enough for him to escape on the bus. In the manga, however, Sasada moves away after her encounter with Shigure, which means she gets more attention in the anime.
