As leader of the first division of the Whitebeard Pirates, Marco is responsible for directing lower-ranked subordinates under his command. Additionally, he is one of the top four commanders within the organization, placing him among the most skilled fighters on board alongside Whitebeard himself. Despite being exposed to Shanks' powerful Haki as a Yonkou, Marco retains consciousness and possesses incredible reflexes that allow him to react instantly to Kizaru's attacks and movements at light-speed. He was even able to touch the intangible Kizaru due to his Logia ability, suggesting Marco may have some Haki capabilities. Marco boasts superhuman strength, demonstrated when he effortlessly kicked Kizaru down with incredible speed. However, it's unclear whether this strength is natural or derived from his status as a zoan-user. Marco consumes the Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit that transforms him into a Phoenix, granting increased speed and flight capabilities, along with the ability to regenerate any wounds using fire. This power makes Marco one of the rarest and most powerful users of Haki. The fruit allows him to control his transformation, enabling him to change only certain limbs while maintaining human form.
