Chiharu Sakuragi is an 8th member of AKB0048 who goes by the name Haruna Kojima. She belongs to the "pioneer" generation of the first AKB48 team, Team A, which was established in 2005. Her nicknames are "Kojiharu" and "Nyan," which reflect her love for cats. Haruna is known for her airheaded personality and slow pace, as well as her messy room. Despite this, she is a popular member who has received numerous endorsements, including those from Metal Gear Solid, Schick Razor, and shampoo brands. She also models fashion alongside fellow members Tomomi Itano and Mariko Shinoda. Haruna is part of the sub-unit NO3B with Minami Minegishi and AKB48's leader, Minami Takahashi.
