Nagisa is one of the students in Class 3-E. Despite being perceived as weak due to his small stature and average physical abilities that are comparable to some girls in class, Nagisa possesses exceptional talent for becoming an assassin. His ability to draw nearer while concealing his bloodlust enables him to launch surprise attacks and make opponents falter with just his bloodlust alone. Nagisa often notes Korosensei's weaknesses, which initially appear minor but prove useful in the end. For instance, he once almost killed Korosensei because of a weakness that was similar to Nagisa's own. Despite being friendly and polite towards his classmates during daily classes, Nagisa hides a darker side as an assassin, only revealing it during training and assassination time. According to Karasuma, whenever Nagisa unleashes his killing intent, he is not engaged in training but instead goes for a kill.
