Piccolo Daimaos second son, Tambourine, is a humanoid gargoyle-like Namekian who resembles his earlier appearance in Master Roshis flashback where he terrorized humans alongside other offspring. Despite there being no logical explanation for this to be Tambourine unless Piccolo Daimao can recycle his offspring, his mission was to hunt down and assassinate all contenders from the past ten years who participated in the World Martial Arts Tournament so that Piccolo Daimaos hostile takeover would be smooth. He was also tasked with collecting any Dragon Balls he encountered along the way if possible. Tambourine accidentally killed Kuririn, as well as other participants of previous tournaments including Man Wolf, King Chapa, Panput, Bacterian and Giran. He brutally beat up Goku, who was enraged after murdering Kuririn. Additionally, Tambourine destroyed the Kintoun using his mouth beam technique until Goku received a new one from Karin later in the series.
