In Lovely Hills town, a detective named Seiichi began investigating a series of disappearances. He was intrigued by these events and sought out information about Hell Girl and the Hell Hotline. At first, he doubted their existence, but after witnessing a disappearance in front of him while trying to save Takuma, the Devil's Child, Seiichi became more convinced. His research led him to discover a book written by Shibata Hajime, one of Season 1's recurring characters, which detailed Enma Ais past and how the Hell Hotline system worked. Although he tried to locate Shibata Hajime, his efforts were unsuccessful as only minor details about Hajime were paid to the publisher for the book's publication.
