The character Phantasos is a deity who possesses the ability to manipulate unreality. Typically, he presents himself using an illusion of a woman and wields his power over dreams in mythology as well as manga adaptations. In these stories, it's revealed that Phantasos was defeated by Capricorn El Cid, who cut him into two pieces during the battle. As he died, his face fell off due to El Cids attack, which removed both his disguise and body. The anime version of this character is known for using a technique called Grim Fantasia (グリム・ファンタジア Gurimu Fantajia?) to trap victims in their dreams.
