Dionysus, also known as thyrsos, was a greek god and the half-brother of apollo. both had zeus as their father. dionysus was the deity associated with wine and revelry. he possessed an alluring and carefree personality, despite his dislike for being commanded. although he could be warm-hearted, there were hints of madness about him. occasionally, he would indulge in appreciating wine, and it seemed that he had a wealth of knowledge concerning matters of love.
