Jun is a friend from Ichitaka's class who was first introduced in Volume 4 during a school trip to Kyoto. Initially, he seemed like a threat to Ichitaka because he appeared to be in love with Iori. However, it later became clear that Jun was homosexual and had fallen in love with Higemi-sensei, their teacher. Because Higemi-sensei was paired with Ichitaka, Koshinae requested a trade, allowing the happy Ichitaka to return to his crush. From then on, Jun became one of Ichitakas best friends and an important listener when he needed advice that Teratani could not provide. Although he dislikes physical aggression, Jun is highly skilled in martial arts when necessary.
