During the one year war, white base's navigational officer, mirai, piloted the spacecraft as a calm and collected member of the crew. she frequently conversed with bright and played an essential role in the team. the yashima family is her lineage, and she later married bright, having two children named hathaway and cheimin. after the war between titans and aeug broke out, they relocated to hong kong to evade the conflict. eventually, they encountered amuro and kamille but were forced to flee once more due to a titan attack aimed at locating them. despite this, mirai endured the war and remains hopeful that her husband will return from battle.
