Takeru wears glasses but uses contacts during practice as a first-year student at honan academy and runs in stride club competitions as an anchor (last runner). he's known for being cool, with serious eyes that convey little interest beyond playing stride. in middle school, takeru was highly skilled in the under 15s category of stride competition. to assess talent, he often feels people's legs. takeru has exceptional cardiovascular fitness and running speed, but his parkour skills are average. the cause behind his fascination with riku remains unclear.
