In the anime series featuring Usui Horokeu, nicknamed Horohoro, there exists a spirit ally named Kororo, who goes by the English name Corey. Kororo is an adorable character known as a Koropokkoru in Ainu culture, meaning "little people under butterbur leaves." Despite being a spirit ally, she harbors feelings for Manta Oyamada, a human character. Her name in the English version of the anime has a similarity to the Japanese word "kōri," which signifies ice and is also the element that Kororo's attacks are centered around.
