Cartaphilus, also known as Joseph, is an enigmatic figure who resembles a young boy but is much older. Legend has it that "God's Son" placed an eternal curse on him, making him a wandering Jew and magician of the flow. Despite having no clear purpose or intention, Cartaphilus continues to travel around the world, conducting experiments with both living and dead beings for his own amusement. However, he seems to have forgotten why he engages in such activities.
