Danjuurou Eiga is a first-year student who joins the Kendo Club with Yuuji. Although he initially wanted to join the Ping Pong Club, there wasn't one available at his school. He surprised Yuuji and Kojirou by bringing his girlfriend Miyako to the club. Despite finding basic training boring, Danjuurou excelled in scorekeeping, as demonstrated in an anime episode. While he often appeared dim-witted, it seemed that he was attuned to Miyako's desires regarding her involvement in the club. In Episode 11, Danjuurou hinted at having a "dark side" during his staring contest with Kojirou, although his "black mode" was less pronounced than Miyako's and only manifested in his eyes. Despite lacking prior experience with Kendo, Danjuurou rapidly improved and even surpassed Yuuji's abilities by the end of the series. It is revealed that he becomes the new captain of the Kendo Club. Furthermore, Danjuurou scored second place in the Muroe High School Regional exams for freshmen, making him one of the smartest members of the club.
